Welcome To Gadeemadis
Over time art has been classified in diverse ways, from the medieval distinction between liberal arts and mechanical arts, to the modern distinction between fine arts and applied arts, or to the many contemporary definitions, which define art as a manifestation of human creativity. Contemporary art as we see it today has emerged after World War II creating a novel art movement whereby artists sought to create challenging and interesting pieces by turning away from realistic representation and the depiction of human figures, towards abstraction and postmodern movement using a variety of materials, sources, and styles.   Gadeemadis for Art and Culture has developed a renewed program that seeks to represent distinguished artwork in an ultramodern and contemporary manner. Committed to presenting work across exhibitions and private spaces where work includes sculptures and paintings. Gadeemadis has maintained strong and creative exhibitions that feature the artists’ true image and communicate the artists’ messages. Gadeemadis aims to play a great role in the art industry with the main focus being supporting Abu Dhabi by taking part in escalating the country to the next level so as to reach international standards, whilst keeping Gadeemadis view point true to its values and efforts. Living amidst a shift in the cultural and art scene across the Arab region; particularly in the UAE, we have witnessed great importance being placed on art and sustenance from Abu Dhabi’s government by throwing art events and including media coverage to encourage artists to take part in events and express their creativity. Abu Dhabi is continually seeking to emphasize expressing and displaying what the UAE has to offer in terms of art and culture, with several projects in Abu Dhabi, entailing renowned museums such as Louvre, Sheikh Zayed Museum, Guggenheim, and Maritime Abu Dhabi. Projects such as exhibiting spaces including UAE Pavilion and The Performing Arts Centre are underway and scheduled to be completed in the coming three years on Saadiyat Island. These projects present Gadeemadis with an extraordinary opportunity to take its part in the new cultural and art era, and to represent contemporary art according to major events such as the World Expo 2020 and other exhibitions within fast pacing developmental prospects in the region.
